P1 AquaX

AquaX is the fastest growing personal watercraft championship in the world. Its rapid growth is owed to a simple, yet challenging race format that appeals to today’s personal watercraft users.

This year the program will include the unveiling of a professional level race series and expansion of two further championships in the Great Lakes region of the USA and in Southeast Asia.

AquaX announces bumper 2018 calendar

Miami unveiled as one of several new venues added to the 2018 AquaX calendar as the European Series expands to four rounds.

There will be a total of 14 race weekends in 2018 with the incredible Miami Marine Stadium announced as the curtain raiser for the season.

Now in its second year, the AquaX Euro Tour will visit France twice plus the UK and Spain as the series looks to build on a competitive first year of racing.

The US season will begin in Miami - the Marine Stadium hosting its first motorised sporting event since its closure in 1992 - and will once again end on the stunning beaches of Ft Lauderdale. In between, the series will visit Chicago for a third year running, St Pete Beach once again after a successful first visit in 2017 and join forces as part of the hugely popular Sarasota Powerboat Festival ahead of the 4th July celebrations.

The Florida Amateur Series will also begin and end alongside the Pro Series but it visits Kissimmee and St Pete Beach to make up a four-round series, whilst the Great Lakes Series expands to three rounds with the addition of North Point in between visits to Whiting and Chicago.

Meanwhile, the Euro Tour will start off in the South of France with a venue to be confirmed shortly, before moving on to Agon-Coutainville, Minehead in South West England and finish once again in Port Balis, Spain.

Once again the UK series will be made up of three rounds, starting in Torquay for a one-day event in April before a trip to Porthcawl in Wales and finally a stop off in Minehead alongside the Euro Tour.

All European rounds will include the AquaX Sprint series, whilst in the United States Miami, Chicago and Ft Lauderdale will all feature the Sprint series also.
