This year the program will include the unveiling of a professional level race series and expansion of two further championships in the Great Lakes region of the USA and in Southeast Asia.

After claiming the UK series title in September, he takes to the waters of Port Balis for the final round of the EU competition having led the competition from the opening race.
Harvey was clear of what he was aiming for before Round 1 got underway in Normandy. The Kawasaki rider said, "I don't want to be coming into the season big headed and failing so my focus is on winning some races and getting some podiums. Hopefully I can smash the Europeans and bring something back for the Brits."
It couldn’t have started any better for the man from Wolverhampton as he took maximum points from France with three resounding victories.
The other two places on the weekend podium were still all to play for in the third and final heat. Rainer Eidner finished fifth in the opening race but fought back to claim a pair le was next over the line after Harvey to claim a total of 48 points, enough for second, and he was joined in the top three by Jordan Lambert on 46 points while David Huddleston finished three points further back.
Harvey’s winning streak continued when the racing moved to Milford Haven for the second round. The 2016 International Cup was victorious in the opening two races before having his impressive feat come to an end when Tim Batte won the weekend’s final outing, but it wasn’t enough to knock Harvey off top spot.
Heat 3 winners, Batte secured second in the weekend standings with a pair of second-place finishes in the meetings first two races while Russell Marmon secured third in all three races to secure the final place on the podium.
The success in Wales extended Harvey’s lead at the top of the standings to 73 points while Batte’s impressive display lifted him to third despite missing the opening event of the series in France.
Lambert struggled in Round 2, registering a pair of fifth-place finishes while unable to score in the weekend’s other race, and it was a similar story for Huddleston who crossed the line in fourth before failing to score in the following two races.
Despite poor performances, both are still well positioned to end of the season in the top three places as Lambert is second in the standings on 70 points, Batte is third on 61 and Huddleston’s 56 points sees him fourth.
The chasing pack are also biting at their heels with only 22 points separating Huddleston, Eidner (5th, 48), Marmon (6th, 45), Aysha Rensink (7th, 35) and Sebastien Biondi (8th, 34).
In the 300 AM class, Thomas Batisse leads the way with two weekend wins to sit aloft the table on 133 points having won four of the six races. He had a clean-sweep of victories in Normandy but had to settle for third in the first race in Milford Haven before climbing to second in race two and returned to winning ways in race three.
Claude Vangansbeck and David Coe are separated by only five points in second and third respectively, while Richard Cable struggled in Normandy where he failed to score in two of the three races before making a strong return in Wales to sit fourth in the standings.
Leading the way in the 200 AM class is Tony Luciano who made a dominant start in Normandy before securing a second weekend win in Wales to open a 28-point lead over Carl Lofthouse and Dave Lee is a further 30 points back in third.
A busy Ski class has a clear leader as Simon Gill (162) stands 36 points ahead of second-placed Nicolas Devys (126) while Harry Robinson (100) is third.
It is a close race for the Spark title as three racers are separated by only 19 points. Tom Miller stood ahead of the pack in Nomandy and heads into the weekend leading the way while a pair of second-place round finishes sees Olivier Thibaut second, trailing by 15 points, and Maxime Benoit produced a stellar performance in Wales to rise to third and just our points behind Thibaut.
