AquaX is the fastest growing personal watercraft championship in the world. Its rapid growth is owed to a simple, yet challenging race format that appeals to todays personal watercraft users.
This year the program will include the unveiling of a professional level race series and expansion of two further championships in the Great Lakes region of the USA and in Southeast Asia.

The AquaX platforms offers two categories of racing - Enduro and Sprint.
Enduro is geared towards the 2 -3 seater watercraft, where racing takes place on large tracks of up to 2m in length and each race lasts for approximately 30 -40mins. The category is then divided by rider skill and experience into Pro and Amateur. In some regions Pro and Am will be combined to form a Pro/Am class if there is insufficient racers to split the class, when this happens the Amateur technical rules apply.
Sprint is geared towards the standup or single seater watercraft, where races take place on smaller tracks of approximately .8 of a mile in length. The tracks are simple, but the offshore conditions provide the difficulty. The category is also split into Pro and Am and a class is also offered to Juniors.

The purpose of the Amateur category is to provide an accessible and affordable racing platform to encourage recreational riders to take part in organised competition. It also acts as a proving ground for those wishing to advance to the Pro level but don't have quite enough experience to make the jump up to Pro.
Competitors taking part in the Amateur class will be considered Amateur, which means a rider must be self-funded and receives no direct financial or product support from a PWC manufacturer. They must not be part of a team that provides professional mechanics. However, they may have local and aftermarket industry sponsors and can form part of a club team. Veteran riders or those with limited funding, despite having previous experience, may remain within the Amateur ranks so long as they adhere the the above rules.
When a series does not offer a Pro level and yet Pro riders are in attendance, Pro riders will be governed by Amateur technical rules. i.e USA North East series or the Malaysian series.
Pro classes include Pro Enduro and Pro Sprint which are offered at World Championship level. Riders qualify by competing in their local series to win a place to compete at the World Championship.
Pro level qualifying races take place in the USA, Europe and the UK. The class is open to all models of sit down PWC that adhere to the Pro Enduro rules, though the rules encourage the use of higher-rated HP craft. Only current racers with sufficient racing experience will be accepted to compete in the Pro categories. No downgrades will be permitted within the racing season, but once the season has started riders may upgrade from the Amateur ranks if they fulfil the entry criteria.
Please check with the series Administrators to confirm what classes are available in the championship you wish to enter.
