P1 AquaX

AquaX is the fastest growing personal watercraft championship in the world. Its rapid growth is owed to a simple, yet challenging race format that appeals to today’s personal watercraft users.

This year the program will include the unveiling of a professional level race series and expansion of two further championships in the Great Lakes region of the USA and in Southeast Asia.

This website contains several forms and checkout pages which gather your contact information. This is used for a variety of different purposes:

1) For payment and delivery of items purchased in the online shop.
2) For subscribing to our occasional newsletters.
3) For entering Powerboat P1 events as a racer.
4) For responding to queries via our contact forms.
5) For registering and paying for P1 Membership

For online sales of tickets and merchandise, this web site gathers/stores the minimum information from the customer which is required for a credit card transaction. We never see your credit card information as this is processed on the payment gateway (PayPal for Europe and SquareUp for US transactions). This information is only ever used for your purchase and is stored on our UK servers. It is not passed on to other parties. Apart from the newsletter sign up, all forms have a slider allowing you to also opt-in to our email newsletter which will allow us to send you occasional emails with news on upcoming race events and the occasional competition or special offer. You will not be contacted by us if you chose to opt-out or unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of the newsletter.

Terms Media Accreditation Passes

Terms & Conditions

Media accreditation applications must be made by completing the online form and submitting this along with supporting material.

All applications MUST be supported by the following:

1.1 Examples of work published in the last 14 months featuring in a recognized print or online publication
1.2. A letter of commission, this must be from an editor of a recognized publication on headed paper and must include a commitment to publish a report and/or pictures of the event. Bloggers/Freelancers should include a letter confirming the website they intend to write for and its circulation as per point 1.1

TV and radio applications should be made directly to the Powerboat P1 Press Office – Conor Davies cdavies@championsukplc.com or Francesca Bonfiglio fbonfiglio@championsukplc.com.

Please note: Websites/electronic media will be accredited at the discretion of Powerboat P1 Press Office. Websites must be current and regularly maintained, producing original editorial content. Those reproducing press releases only will not be considered. Sites must contain editorial content relevant to P1 AquaX / P1 Jetcross / P1 Superstock / Powerboat P1 in order to be considered. The allocation of a pass does not permit the sale of images for commercial purposes – only for media use.

Without the above supporting documentation, the application will NOT be considered.

As an accredited journalist, you will be provided with:

2.1. A P1 Media Accreditation pass
2.2 Access to the chosen Powerboat P1 event
2.3 Access to areas not available to members of the public (race pits, premium viewing (where applicable).\
2.4 Access to attending racers or personalities where possible (due to timing restrictions, access is extremely limited and will be provided at the discretion of the Powerboat P1 Press Office)

What we expect in return:

3.1. A name check for at least one of the following: Powerboat P1, P1 AquaX, P1 SuperStock or P1 Jetcross in all news, photos/photo captions and video stories originating from your presence at the event whether in print, on screen, online or broadcast.
3.2. If tweeting from a P1 Grand Prix event, we would greatly appreciate it if you could use the relevant location hashtag e.g. #P1Miami and relevant Powerboat P1 championship handle @P1SuperStock @P1AquaX @P1Jetcross

Press passes are only available for bona fide press: they will not be issued to anyone working in advertising, sales, new business, production, publishing, PR, personnel or marketing.

Passes are not transferable and ID will be required when collecting your pass at the event.

Online applications must be made at least 2 days prior to an event.
